PaulaQ's How to Make Chamorro Food cooklet series. Recipes are divided into smaller booklets, er, cooklets. Each cooklet will have an average of fifteen recipes. The cooklets will include past and present foods that are common in Chamorro households and at Chamorro parties. There will be recipes from old, recipes of new, recipes borrowed from other cultures, and one recipe that’s blue. Dishes will be from Paula's cookbooks, website, and recipes that are still in files that have yet to be posted. Previously shared recipes got a formatting facelift though the recipes themselves will not change because they have worked since they were first made available. To date, there are eleven cooklets planned, and each will be published as they are finished. Print copies will be sold on Amazon.com. First one up was How to Make Chamorro Coconut Desserts. Coming soon to Amazon is cooklet #2, How to Make Chamorro Kelaguen & Titiyas.

Paula was so inspired by her trip home in February 2006.  With a desire to preserve and share her culture, Paula wrote A Taste of Guam.  It was published by Infinity Publishing later that same year and republished in 2009 and 2012.  All the recipes include a short narrative:  something from a friend, a tip from grandma or a slice of history. This book is available on Amazon as a paperback  book and as a Kindle downloadable ebook.

Remember Guam is a collection of memories and recipes to warm your heart and lighten your spirit. Macarons Math, Science, and Art is your ultimate resource in successfully making beautiful and full French macaron cookies. It is a fun fusion of cookie-making magic and academics. If you are tired of feet-less, cracked, and hollow French macarons, Macarons Math, Science, and Art is the book you must have. The book is available as a paperback and as a Kindle downloadable ebook.

CONQUERED takes you back to Guam's liberation in 1944. The Japanese bombed and left Pearl Harbor, but several hours later, they bombed and occupied Guam, the only American soil to have been taken by the enemy. After almost three years of brutal occupation, on July 21, 1944, Guam’s liberation was imminent. Jesi, a native girl, would have suffered at the hands of the Japanese if not for Johan, a liberating American soldier bent on putting himself in harm’s way. Conquered is an erotic historical romance of a young woman and an embittered soldier. It’s a story about war, hope, faith, and love, and the spirit of the Chamorro people.

PaulaQ's Guam romance novels are steamy, complete with references to Guam food and full of Guam history, including a map of the time periods and a couple of Guam recipes. STORMED, the sequel to CONQUERED, takes place in 1992. Liz and Manny survived the ravages of Super Typhoon Omar, but can their love withstand the storms of life on Guam? STORMED is "...teeming with as much political unrest and protest as it is with an unlikely and irresistible romance between its two protagonists." STORMED is available on Amazon as a digital e-book and a paperback.

Guam Food Yum is the official blog for PaulaQ, and has been the foodie's historical record since 2008. Here, you'll find posts on the uses of ingredients such as how Chamorros cook with pumpkin as well as research of Guam's food history including how guyuria came to be on Guam.  This is also where you'll find Guam Foodopedia -- a new dynamic collaborative of kitchen terms and Guam food history for all things Guam and CHamoru eats. It's an excellent resource of CHamoru food words such as how to spell baba -- to open something -- or is it båba, or ba'ba'? Find out here!
